Lawn Mowing

Every mowing service includes a clean-cut lawn, trimming fence lines, walkways, and flower beds, around trees, poles and shrubs, and then cleaning up the excess clippings to leave you with the best-looking lawn possible.

Improper lawn mowing can single-handedly ruin the health and look of your lawn. That is why you will always see us use professional equipment.
We use the right tools for the right job. Our blades are changed out every day to ensure your lawn receives the best cut possible. We change our mowing direction every week and we mow at the proper height for your grass type.

We do not offer 1-time mowing services. Our mowing services require a minimum contract of 4 weeks.

Weed Control

We treat crabgrass among other pesky grassy and broadleaf weeds that like to invade the local lawns.

We perform our program over a span of 6 visits to incorporate broadleaf weed control and pre-emergent weed control when they will be the most effective.

Various herbicide products are properly and safely used to control and eradicate weeds in your lawn. Our technicians receive ongoing training to help identify different types of weeds and learn how to eradicate them.

Being an environmentally safe weed control company is important to you and it’s important to us. That is why our technicians are Washington State certified and trained before they ever touch any chemicals.

Our technicians hold all the valid chemical licenses and certifications required. Equipped with intensive training to identify a variety of weeds, you can sleep well knowing they will turn your lawn into your paradise. We use nothing but the leading equipment in the industry to treat your lawns.

We love green, weed-free turf! That’s also what we deliver.

Lawn Edging

Edging refers to trimming the grass at a 90-degree angle perpendicular to the ground along sidewalks or where the grass meets hard surfaces. This process of edging the grass during the mowing service really gives it a professionally manicured look.

With our edging services, your lawn will have clean lines and a professional look without sustaining any marks. Our tools paired with lawn mowing add to the length of your lawn and the look of your property.

Lawn Dethatching

Lawn dethatching, or power raking, is the process of removing excess organic material like dead grass from your lawn. Especially in combination with aeration, this allows your grass to access more carbon dioxide and thrive.

Lawn Aeration

We understand the importance of having a lush, green lawn that not only looks beautiful but also adds value to your property. That’s why we highly recommend adding an aeration service to your lawn care program.

Core aeration improves the health of your lawn by allowing water, oxygen, and nutrients to reach the root zone. Added benefits: alleviates compaction caused by foot traffic on your lawn.

Preparing For Lawn Mowing

All of our employees at Spokane’s Finest Lawns are trained to perform our lawn services the same way, every time.  We thoroughly train our employees to ensure they know how to operate the equipment safely and proficiently without tearing up your lawn.  Every employee goes through a 2 week training period before they are trusted to be without supervision

To ensure we are doing quality lawn mowing every service, our mowing technicians are required to fill out a 15-point quality checklist before leaving the property!

We always make a couple of perimeter passes around the property including any obstacles in the middle of the yard.  Once we have our outline cut, we begin striping up each lawn section by section until all the grass has been mowed.

The mowing direction is changed every week if possible. Doing this reduces ruts caused by mowers traveling the same route week after week.

We bag or mulch our clippings. Doing this prevents lawn clippings from flying into unwanted areas like your patio furniture, fencing, or landscape beds.

String Trimming Around Obstacles

We operate with 1-man crew and 2-man crews. Whichever the case for your propery, our techs will trim, weed wack your lawn to perfection with commercial grade equipment.

Areas the lawn mower cannot reach will be trimmed. Around Trees, a/c units, parked vehicles, next to fencing are just a few areas where trimming will be done.

Our crews are trained to follow a specific route at every house to insure absolutely nothing is missed!

Lawn Edging

At Spokane’s Finest Lawns, we use a steel-bladed edger for the first time to get the edge into shape. Thereafter, we use a traditional weed trimmer with a disc attachment. This maintains the edge that was initially cut in and prevents any further damage to your concrete. This disc also prevents a lot of wear and tear along wood fencing and posts.

Blowing Off The Grass Clippings

To complete your lawn mowing service in Spokane, we will clean up all of the grass clippings.  We accomplish this by blowing the grass off curbs, sidewalks, driveways, mulch beds, and patios.

We are not going to leave until your lawn looks perfect!

After the blowing is complete our crew fills out a 15-point checklist to make sure your property has been serviced to the utmost;  we make sure your gates are closed, your back, front, and side lawn are mowed, your trimming and edging are clean, and all surfaces are blown off. We check for damages caused by our equipment to your lawn or property.

Upon completion of the checklist, you will get a notification via text informing you our crew has just finished the mowing service. You will also receive an email asking you to rate that service! We love hearing from our clients!
